The Body aches...

Our first full-length record is in! Recorded (and mostly written) in the summer of 2010. We recorded most of it ourselves in my parents' house (thanks) in Porthcawl, with three songs recorded at Suburban Home in Leeds that were originally intended for a 7". It was mastered by our friend Tim Garratt in London and the artwork was drawn by Rob Glew in Leeds.

Upcoming gigs

After going into hibernation for a few months after our tour in December with The Saturday's (insert plural noun here) we're thawing out to play the following:

30th March - The County Sports Club, Bristol w/ Marshall Teller
31st March - TBC, London (Big Takeover)
1st April - Live Bar, Truro w/ Marshall Teller

Hopefully a 7" somewhere not too far down the line, since it's actually been a year and a half since the last time we went into the studio.

Bandcamp

I've put all of our releases up on Bandcamp now so that you can stream them or download them for free, or however much you want to pay. The split with Harbour is out of print now (but the State Run LP most certainly isn't! Get at me if you want a copy. I think I'll put it on Bandcamp soon). You can order the new LP, "THE BODY" from Art For Blind Records and can still pick up the split 7" with The Sceptres from Dire Records.

Last dispatch

Just for purpose of switching over from the old website, here's the last dispatch from the Vega, almost two years ago now.

"15th April 2010- Last night was the final date on our nine day UK tour. Despite the very real sensation that God was trying to finish us off with endless damage to vehicles, voices and one inconveniently-timed ruptured intestine, we managed to play every gig and have a great time. Fuck you God. We love The Sceptres and Sam Hunt. Some new photos have been added below.
We've begun recording a new 7" in Leeds which will be completed over the next few weeks. The wheels have also been set in motion for an album over the course of the summer."
